Guiding Students. Supporting Families. Building Brighter Futures.

For nearly two decades, Wanzenberg & Associates has helped students, families, attorneys, and educational professionals navigate complex school-based challenges with clarity, judgment, and care.

Our work includes educational advocacy, executive functioning support, special education consultation, school discipline guidance, expert witness services, and community education.

We are intentionally small, highly individualized, and deeply student-focused. Before recommending a service, we work to understand the situation, clarify the concern, and help families determine the right tool for the challenge they face.

Thoughtful Guidance for Complex Educational Questions

Families often contact us when they feel overwhelmed, uncertain, or concerned that a student’s needs are not being fully understood. Sometimes the concern involves an IEP or 504 plan. Sometimes it involves executive functioning, school discipline, transition planning, communication breakdowns, or a difficult educational dispute.

Our first goal is not to sell a service. Our first goal is to understand.

We listen carefully, review available information when appropriate, and help families consider practical next steps grounded in the student’s needs, educational data, applicable law, and the realities of school systems.

What We Do

  • We support families through IEP, 504, placement, eligibility, discipline, and dispute-resolution matters.

Our advocacy is calm, strategic, and student-centered. We help families understand their rights, organize concerns, communicate effectively, and participate meaningfully in educational decision-making.

  • Our executive functioning team is made up of experienced practicing educators who help students build practical systems for planning, organization, initiation, follow-through, time management, and independence.

This work is not generic coaching. It is individualized educational support delivered by professionals who understand how students function in real classrooms.

  • We provide consultation for families, attorneys, schools, and professionals facing complex educational questions.

This may include record review, educational planning, expert witness support, transition consultation, or strategic guidance in matters involving school-based conflict.

  • Education is central to our mission.

Through presentations, workshops, free initial consultations, and community outreach, we help families and professionals better understand educational systems, student rights, executive functioning, and pathways toward independence.tion
